As a result of this situation, several carriers and infrastructure providers have activated their emergency and safety protocols, which may temporarily cause:
- Delays in field work, scheduled maintenance and installations.
- Delays in dispatching technical personnel to site.
- Longer response times than usual.
- Possible service disruptions or intermittency.
